Traveling Mercies

Many miles were traveled this month, and God provided traveling mercies. We had a only a minor issue with our minivan, that Sparky was able to fix with just a few minutes, and a quick stop at a parts store. Thank you for your prayers!!!

Our family at The Golden Spike Historical Site

We were able to stop at some historical sites and points of interest along the way. It’s been fun to see, the older two kids especially, become so interested in the history that was made in places they see.

On our trip to Oregon, we got to share at Bethany Baptist Church in Salem. Many people from “our college days” either attend there, or were able to come hear us speak. It was so wonderful to see everyone again! We got a special blessing in Sunday School when we got to hear from some veteran missionaries about how God used them for years in Thailand. We spent one night with Myndii’s Grandpa in Washington, and then some dear friends in Salem for the 4th. It was a very quick trip, there and back in just under 2 ½ days, but were blessed through the time God allowed us to have.

The Utah/Wyoming trip was the next weekend…so we were “home” long enough to unpack, and pack back up again. We were at Grace Baptist in Kemmerer, Wyoming for morning service and a BBQ lunch. The evening service was at Grace Baptist in Randolph, Utah. We spent most of our weekend with Pastor Adank, Pastor Acree, and their families. Everyone made us feel right at home, and we made some great friendships!

Monday morning, on our way back to Idaho, we were able to stop by and see the Grings! Dan, Bob, Timothy, and Anna, met us at the church in Sandy, Utah and then we went to lunch together. Bob is really doing great, and it was wonderful to see him doing so well. (Christine Grings was visiting family; Heidi and Amy were at camp; so we missed seeing them this time.)

Support

One church and two individuals/families have committed to be financial support partners, and one church increased their support amount. This brings us to a total of 4 churches, 6 individuals/families, and almost 20% of our goal. (We also know of churches that are praying about joining the support team soon.)

We are adding prayer partners consistently, and thank the Lord for each of you!

We continue to stand in awe of our Lord and Savior! He continues to shower us with His blessings, and lighting the pathway ahead. We must confess that He has chosen not to illuminate very much of the pathway, but continues to guide along one step at a time; leaving no doubt as to which step to take, right it is time to do so.

On His path for life,
(Psalm 16:11)
