Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men

(Our Housing Situation)

Our plans to trade houses have fallen through due to changes in the financial situation of the man with the other house.

We know God is in control of all, and are now praying for wisdom in how to proceed. We are unsure if God would have us invest in a different property, or use the funds from the sale of this house in another way. We also are praying for His timing in the sale of this house, and wisdom in which “projects” to start/complete that will be the best for the next owner.

We continue forward, knowing that God has a perfect plan…yet unknown to us.

Temporary “Addition” to our Family

We are very excited that Paul Ward, Lee and Becky Ward’s adopted son, is going to stay with us for a time while their other son, Orlic, has surgery in Utah. (Orlic’s surgery is scheduled for May 11th) Paul is a lot of fun to have around! He and Titus have become good friends, and have made a deal to teach each other English/Lingala. Paul has certainly encouraged the kids’ passion for Congo!

Utah Conference

We had a fantastic opportunity to attend a conference on the fundamentals of the faith in West Valley City, Utah. God used this time to encourage us and remind why we believe what we believe. We are so thankful for those who have come before and contended for the faith, even under adversity.

God also allowed us to meet many pastors and Christians from churches in and around Utah. Please pray earnestly for those who continue to reach out to the members of the LDS communities.

Support

We are excited to report we now are partnering with 3 financially supporting churches (with the newest addition of Kuna Baptist in Kuna, Idaho) and 4 faithful individual supporters. This puts us officially in double-digits with 10% J We also are so very blessed to have a prayer support base of well over 200 families!

Thank you all…it is such a privilege to serve our Lord with you!!!
